This interior rearview mirror has auto-dimming, alarm LED, and rain sensor functions. It is the version with the tab-like alarm indicator at the bottom of the mirror, rather than the round LED version. Please confirm that your existing mirror matches BMW part number 8 236 774 before purchasing. Please verify the part number on your mirror. If you have different options you may overload the auto-dim circuit and fluid will leak out. This will void your warranty and no return will be accepted.
