DESCRIPTION:
This engine block was removed from a 1991 525i with ~158k miles. The pistons and crankshaft are not included. All cylinder walls retain their original crosshatch honing marks. Most have a few light vertical scuffs, but there is no serious scoring or significant rust damage. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. The housing exterior has some rust and flaking paint but no pitting, and all mounting points are intact. Approximately half of the piston oil-spray nozzles fitted in the main-bearing saddles are missing and not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Apart from the disclosed issues, guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
