ITEM: dmg'd elec steering rack, 79k
DESCRIPTION:
This electric steering rack and pinion was removed from a running, driving 2019 M5 with ~79k miles. The rack worked normally during testing on the car. The connector to the motor is cracked. It still connects, but the locking piece of it is missing so it may pull out easily and allow moisture in. Otherwise, the input shaft splines are clean and undamaged. The housing has no rubbing damage or cracks, and all mounting points are intact. The rack shows no irregular play or binding. The tie rods are not included. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
