ITEM: dmg'd instrument cluster, hi-OBC, 208k
DESCRIPTION:
This instrument cluster was taken from a running 2002 525i Touring with 208k miles on the odometer. It is for cars with at least one of the following options: On-Board Computer (BMW Option Code: S555A), TV Function (S601A), On-Board Monitor W/ TV (S601A), OR Navigation Professional (S609A). The LCD back light was uneven during testing. All the pixels in the LCD screen are working and the backlight can be repaired by replacing the backlight bulb. Otherwise, the gauge, and indicator lighting are all tested and working. The lens has some very light scratches from cleaning rags but no deep scrapes or cracks. The housing is undamaged, and all the mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part. This cluster will require programming by a BMW specialist to reflect your car's mileage and VIN number. You can still use the cluster without programming, but it will display a yellow tamper dot.
