ITEM: dmg'd piston/rod set of 6, 149k
DESCRIPTION:
This set of six piston and connecting rod assemblies was removed from a 2015 X5 35dX with ~149k miles that experienced a timing chain failure. The valves lightly contacted the piston faces, leaving shallow marks. Every piston has marks on at least the exhaust side, and some also have marks on the intake side. There are no deep impacts, cracks, or chips. The piston faces have some carbon staining but no serious buildup. The piston rings are included, but they should be replaced before installation. The ring lands are intact and undamaged. The piston skirts have minor scuffs but no deep scoring or widespread damage. The connecting rods are healthy and reusable. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. These are used original BMW parts.
