ITEM: dmg'd oversized piston/rod set of 6, 431k
DESCRIPTION:
This set of piston and connecting rod assemblies was taken from a 1986 325e with ~431k miles. I'm not sure if this was from the original engine, a replacement, or rebuilt engine. These are the oversized 84.230mm (+25) pistons. One of the connecting rod bolts was cross-threaded and stripped, destroying the threads in the connecting rod and the bolt. The single connecting rod will like need to be replaced. The piston faces are clean and free from damage. The piston skirts have a few very minor scuffs in a few spots, but there are no serious or widespread issues. The piston rings are included, but they should be replaced before installing the pistons. The other connecting rods are healthy and undamaged. Details can be viewed in the photos. These are used original BMW parts.
