DESCRIPTION:
The block has a large crack in the crankcase at the upper portion of the No. 1 main bearing saddle. The No. 1 main bearing spun in the block, causing damage to the bearing bore and a crack in the block. This block will require extensive repair before it can be reused. The cylinder bores have some light scuffs and scratches from normal use, but there are no deep scoring marks or gouges. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. Aside from the damage at the No. 1 main bearing area, the exterior of the block has no other cracks, rubbing damage, or structural issues. All mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. This is a used original BMW part.
