DESCRIPTION:
This cylinder head was removed from a running 1989 325ix Sedan with ~186k miles. The cast part number is 1407885. The camshaft, rocker arms, and valves are included as shown. The block-to-head mating surface has been checked and shows a small amount of warpage ranging from approximately .001" to .002". There are no visible cracks in the casting. The valve faces have some minor carbon buildup from normal use, but there is no serious or permanent damage. The cooling passages are clean and smooth. Most of the exhaust manifold studs are missing and will need to be replaced. The camshaft appears healthy and is free from deep scoring or significant wear. All mounting points are intact. Details can be viewed in the photos. Guaranteed good working condition. This is a used original BMW part.
